1. General Questions

What is the ThingLink Scenario Builder?

The ThingLink Scenario Builder makes it easy for you to build visually engaging, self-paced learning modules that are accessible on laptops, mobile devices, VR headsets and immersive meeting rooms.

Can the “Create with AI” option in ThingLink Scenario Builder build a complete course for me?

The “Create with AI” feature in the ThingLink Scenario Builder will suggest a framework for your course, based on any materials you upload (like PDFs) and the additional information you provide. The framework includes a suggestion of key content areas, learning goals, and different kinds of content blocks which you can edit. This serves as an excellent starting point to develop and customize your course further.

For the best results, we recommend providing guidance or specific details, such as desired outcomes, course length, style, and key topics. This input helps the AI generate a course structure that closely matches your training objectives.

Who can access the new Scenario Builder and the “Create with AI” function?

All accounts have access to the Scenario Builder and AI tools; however, publishing scenarios created with AI requires a school, organization, or enterprise license.

All ThingLink users can access the new Scenario Builder and the Create with AI functionality, publishing and sharing created content is available for paid account.

Can students use the “Create with AI” feature?

By default settings, students cannot access the “Create with AI” feature. However, Administrators of your organization account can enable or disable this option in the settings to control student access based on your preferences. This way, students can for example create branching scenarios as part of a learning assignment in analytical or critical thinking

Is there a limit to the number of scenarios I can create with AI?

The Create with AI feature is currently in BETA phase, during which our team is collecting data for further development.

As the feature moves out of beta, generation limits will be introduced based on account types and associated costs.

Is there a limit on PDF file size and page number for content creation?

Yes, each PDF file can be up to 25 MB, with a maximum of 5 files per scenario. There is no specific limit on the number of pages, although the system performs best with shorter PDFs.
